Getting in touch
hello@emilygoan.scot
Emily does not work regular hours, but will reply as soon as she can.
The block
Early Years Musicianship is booked as a block of weekly classes, not as individual sessions. The current block runs Wednesdays | October 28th, November 4th, 11th & 18th | 2026 at Cowal Kirk Cafe Space, Kirn, and each class lasts about 40 minutes. The price is £49 per block.
One place is one child. If you are bringing a brother or sister who is joining in, they need their own place. A baby or sibling who is simply coming along with you does not.
A minimum number of bookings is needed for a block to run. If that number is not reached, the block will not go ahead and you will be refunded in full.
Payment and your place
Payment is taken at the time of booking and your place is confirmed once it has gone through. You will get a confirmation email listing each child booked. Card payments are handled by WooPayments, operated by Stripe; card details never reach this website.
Changes and refunds
Because a block runs on set dates, it counts as a leisure activity with a specific period of performance. That means the usual 14-day right to change your mind about something bought online does not apply to a class booking. Please be sure of the dates before you book.
- If Emily cancels a class and cannot rearrange it, that class is refunded to you.
- If the block does not run for want of numbers, you are refunded in full.
- If you miss a class, it cannot be refunded on its own, because the block is booked as a whole rather than as separate classes.
- If something changes for you before the block starts, get in touch. There is no obligation, but Emily would far rather hear from you than have an empty chair, and will help where she can.
None of this affects your legal rights if a class is not carried out with reasonable care and skill, or is not as described.
What we ask of you
An adult stays
These are adult-and-child classes. You, or whoever you have named as bringing your child, stays in the room for the whole class and is responsible for them throughout.
Tell us what we need to know
Anything about your child’s health or additional needs that would help Emily keep them safe and comfortable. It is optional, and it is only used for that.
Photographs are your choice
Answering the photo question is never a condition of booking, and you can change your mind later by emailing us.
Complaints and your information
If you are unhappy with anything, email hello@emilygoan.scot and say what has happened. We will acknowledge it, look into it and tell you the outcome.
What we do with the details you give when booking, including your child’s date of birth, any medical information and your answer about photographs, is set out in the Privacy Policy, which also explains how to complain about how your information has been handled.
